Saints Vivants is the union of chef Diego with two friends, Jérémy and Coline, who are independent wine merchants (Nouvelle Cave, also specializing in old vintages and aged liqueurs). It is this shared passion for fine cuisine and wine that led us to open our own restaurant/wine bar, with a philosophy of reasonable prices that is hard to find in Lyon!

We offer a wide selection of wines (including wines by the glass!) for all types of enthusiasts, ranging from prestigious estates with allocations to imported vineyards (Piedmont, Mallorca...), old vintages, wines carefully crafted organically/ biodynamically... and especially nearly twenty aged liqueurs by the glass and Chartreuse Tarragone, very rare to find at an affordable price!

SAUTERNES CHATEAU D'YQUEM 2004

Sauternes Château d'Yquem, an incredible wine. We know very well that many people wouldn’t necessarily buy the whole bottle, but being able to taste a glass in 6cl or 12cl is an experience worth trying! With a bit of age, the sugar is well integrated and truly makes the tasting superb and complex!

MEURSAULT CLOS DE LA BARRE 2022 COMTES LAFON

An iconic estate in Meursault, much like Yquem, it's great to offer this by the glass for people who have always wanted to taste it but might not necessarily buy a bottle (already due to its rarity!). It’s also one of the estate’s flagship parcels!

CHARTREUSE TARRAGONE

Verticale de Chartreuse Tarragone, ranging from 1945 to the early 70s.
Cumbre, Gruno, Fabiola... Each bottle is unique due to its evolution in the bottle. An incredible complexity with aromas of saffron, garrigue, curry, honey... alcohol fully integrated.

Jérémy ROCHE

It all started in the vineyards in 2013, followed by a degree in wine and spirits commerce. An approach to old vintages in Beaune that quickly became a passion, leading to the opening of my cellar, Nouvelle Cave, in Lyon’s 6th arrondissement. Six years later, Saints Vivants was born, a wine bar restaurant with a wide selection of fine wines, old vintages, Chartreuse Tarragone, and wines from winemakers.
