Emile

Rating 1

EXCELLENT: Over 20 wines by-the-glass

Experience: Sophisticated & Stylish

Specialist in: Bio-dynamic | Cool climate | Pinot Noir

Emile Restaurant is a product-driven cuisine restaurant located in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. The kitchen is led by Argentine chef Bernabé Simón Padrós, and the dishes emphasize clarity of flavor, balance, and respect for the essence of each ingredient. The menu highlights Brazilian ingredients, prepared with technique to enhance, rather than transform, the raw material.

Wine list focused on wines from small producers as well as timeless classics. The selection of wines is designed primarily for the Rio de Janeiro climate, featuring fresh, refined, and elegant wines that also complement Chef Bernabé's menu, which increasingly offers more options of whites, rosés, and light-extraction fine wines, always meant to accompany and keep the food in the spotlight.

GLASS HIGHLIGHTS

Subject to availability*

A Branquinho NV, Antonio Maçanita

A white wine for any occasion, crafted by one of Portugal's leading oenologists, based on Arinto, with vibrant acidity and a focus on freshness, a great companion at the table, especially with fish and seafood.

A Good Moment 2025, Vivente

The year 2024 was marked by severe floods in southern Brazil, which greatly affected the 2025 harvest. In response, Vivente created a new label to save the few grapes left from the crop—Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Noir. This is a fresh wine, full of red fruits, low in alcohol, and very lively.

Sauvignon Blanc 2025, Thera

Altitude wine from the Serra Catarinense, very citrusy, full of passion fruit, rue, and freshly cut grass notes, fresh with moderate alcohol, perfect with raw fish dishes.
