Maison Bâtard is a four-level celebration of modern French cuisine and Melbourne’s golden era of hospitality. From rooftop Champagne afternoons to refined suppers in Le Club, every space offers a unique atmosphere where exceptional wine and food take centre stage.

With a 10,000-bottle cellar, including Australia’s most significant collection of Bordeaux and Burgundy. Maison Bâtard offers dozens of wines by the glass. Rare bottles from Petrus and Domaine Leroy sit alongside iconic French pours, ensuring a dynamic list for every occasion.

Yuki Hirose (MS) - Group Sommelier & Loïc Avril - General Manager of Wine

Loïc Avril, Head of Wine at Lucas Collective, brings nearly two decades of global experience including at The Fat Duck and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. Named 18th Best Sommelier in the World (ASI 2019), he combines French heritage, education and passion to shape exceptional wine programs across Lucas Collective’s acclaimed venues.

Group Sommelier Yuki is one of the few Australian Master Sommeliers. With experience at Rockpool Bar & Grill and Society, he leads a team of 30 sommeliers, known for his precision, mentorship and dedication to world-class hospitality.
