Bright, bold, joyful and loud, Chin Chin Sydney brings a riot of flavours, energy and fun to Surry Hills. Housed in the restored Griffiths Teas building, it’s a buzzing Thai-inspired eatery where big, vibrant dishes are paired with equally exciting wines, served in a lively, share-style setting.

Our list offers a wealth of by-the-glass options, with a bespoke tap wine program from top Australian producers, alongside a rotating selection of fine and rare pours. Expect around 15–20 wines by the glass, championing winemakers through playful, interactive storytelling.

Yuki Hirose (MS) - Group Sommelier & Loïc Avril - General Manager of Wine

Loïc Avril, Head of Wine at Lucas Collective, brings nearly two decades of global experience including at The Fat Duck and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. Named 18th Best Sommelier in the World (ASI 2019), he combines French heritage, education and passion to shape exceptional wine programs across Lucas Collective’s acclaimed venues.

Group Sommelier Yuki is one of the few Australian Master Sommeliers. With experience at Rockpool Bar & Grill and Society, he leads a team of 30 sommeliers, known for his precision, mentorship and dedication to world-class hospitality.
