Book Society is a woman-owned bookstore and wine lounge in Berkeley's Historic Elmwood District, where literature, wine, and conversation converge. Guests slow down, browse curated books, and sip from a self-pour "sip station" featuring 8 wines paired to a monthly book theme. Events, book clubs, and a warm community spirit make it more than a shop.

Book Society offers 8 rotating by-the-glass wines monthly, always curated around a literary theme — past collections include Wanderlust, Wild Women, and Cozy Chaos. The self-pour sip station lets guests sample one or all. A non-alcoholic wine is always on tap. A nationwide book-and-wine subscription extends the experience beyond the lounge.
