Vessel EmSphere
Restaurant · Emsphere ชั้น G เลขที่ 628 Sukhumvit Rd, Khlong Tan, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110
More than two hundred wines by the glass is a startling number for a bar on the ground floor of a shopping mall, yet that is the offer at Vessel, inside EmSphere on Sukhumvit Road beside Phrom Phong BTS. The room is small and the list is not. Sommelier Andrea Demaria, Diploma-qualified with twenty years on floors across several continents, ranges from Bordeaux and Burgundy through Loire whites, Super-Tuscans and Cabernet Sauvignon to Champagne, with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay appearing in several guises. German Riesling gets a particular nod; an off-dry Spätlese is the staff pick as a match for Thai heat. Older vintages and reserve bottles that would normally demand a full-bottle commitment turn up here by the glass. It is built for the end of the working day, and it shows.

The Wine Merchant Sukhumvit
Restaurant · 799 Sukhumvit Rd, Klongtonnua, Watthana, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10110
Between Phrom Phong and Thonglor, at 799 Sukhumvit Road, this Wine Merchant branch takes a looser line than its Silom sibling. The ground floor is the bar proper. Upstairs is a tasting room where guests may bring their own food and work through bottles chosen from the Wine Merchant range, a format that suits long evenings with friends rather than a quick stop. Wines by the glass number more than forty and follow the group's European instincts: Bordeaux and Burgundy in depth, Champagne, German Riesling and a strong Italian section. The floor is led by Ponsuda Palasak, a Court of Master Sommeliers Certified Sommelier who reached the top ten of the Thailand Best Sommelier Contest in 2025. The informality is the point; her recommendations are the bonus.

Divino Bangkok Food & Wine
Restaurant · PHMM+P5V, Soi Thong Lo, Khwaeng Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10110
Thonglor has smartened up considerably since Divino opened on its main road sixteen years ago, when it was among the first wine bars in Bangkok. The place has stayed small and homely, and owner Roberto, with more than three decades in food and drink behind him, is there most nights opening bottles and steering guests towards something they have not tried. Italy is the point, with Piedmont well represented, and Riesling, Pinot Noir and traditional-method sparkling wine as the supporting cast, plus a scattering of bottles from further afield. The list changes often. Roughly twenty wines are poured by the glass, some from magnum, and the Matteo Correggia Alta Langa is a good place to begin. Daily specials from the kitchen change just as frequently, and corkage is available for anyone who would rather bring their own.

GAA
Restaurant · 46 Soi Sukhumvit 53, Khwaeng Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10110
A restored Thai wooden house on Soi Sukhumvit 53, some sixty years old, is home to Garima Arora's contemporary Indian cooking, which the Michelin Guide Thailand lists with two stars in 2026. The room is calm rather than grand, with taupe walls and only discreet Thai touches, and the kitchen treats classic Indian technique as a starting point for something lighter and more precise. Head sommelier Valeriia Bobyleva keeps the by-the-glass list to twenty-three wines and makes each one count: several grower Champagnes, orange wines, a small run of Japanese bottles and a proper set of dessert wines to close. Star Wine List named it Southeast Asia's best sparkling wine list in 2026, so the traditional method fizz is a sensible place to begin. The bottle list is not vast, but it has been chosen with real curiosity.

Juksunchae
Restaurant · PHMG+6MF, Sukhumvit 49, Khwaeng Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10110
Twelve seats around an Italian marble counter, inside the Marriott Executive Apartments on Sukhumvit 49, are the whole of Juksunchae. Chef Henry Lee's omakase reworks traditional Korean flavours with real delicacy, and in 2026 the Michelin Guide Thailand gave it one star, the country's first for a Korean kitchen. The wine list is run by F&B director Pemnitchawi Limwichai with general manager Atiporn Khaengraeng, and the twenty glasses on offer cover an unusually wide map for a room this small: Riesling from Alsace and Germany, Jura, Barolo, Cabernet Franc, Bordeaux and Burgundy, with New Zealand Chardonnay and a Georgian amber wine among the featured pours. Pét-nat and sweet wines round things off. Star Wine List holds it as a White Star venue. For anyone curious how contemporary Korean cooking meets the classic European regions, this is the place to find out.

MUST Wine Bar
Wine Bar · 2nd floor SODALITY 263 Thong Lo 13, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110
Up on the second floor of Sodality on Thonglor Soi 13, MUST is a neighbourhood wine bar with a serious list and no interest in ceremony. Nuttiya 'Lily' Wisootsat builds it around independent growers, with a soft spot for indigenous grape varieties and appellations that are quietly disappearing. Between thirty and forty wines are open by the glass at any time, alongside more than ten flights, and the cellar behind them runs past 500 labels. Expect low-intervention and biodynamic bottles from cool-climate sites and plenty of off-the-beaten-track names; a Santorini Assyrtiko blend from Sigalas is a typical pour. Star Wine List holds it as a White Star venue and gave it silver in three categories at its 2025 Asia awards, by-the-glass among them. The kitchen was designed to serve the list, so dishes are built to be matched rather than the other way round.

The Wine Merchant Thonglor
Restaurant · 8, Town Hall Park, 88 สุขุมวิท 49 แขวงคลองตันเหนือ เขตวัฒนา กรุงเทพมหานคร 10110
Thonglor's Wine Merchant sits in the Town Hall compound on Sukhumvit 49, the residential soi running parallel to Thonglor proper and a short walk from the district's restaurants. This is the group's candle-lit room, dimmer and slower than its siblings, with a pace built for lingering over a bottle rather than dashing through a flight. More than twenty wines are open by the glass and they follow the house pattern of classic Europe, Bordeaux and Burgundy at the centre, Champagne alongside, and Barbaresco leading a considered run of Italian reds. German whites round out the list. Branch manager Cholprathan Panthongkum has spent more than eight years on Bangkok wine floors and steers the room with an easy hand. For a quiet second glass after dinner on Thonglor, it is the obvious place to walk to.

tōst 49
Restaurant · 88,8 Sukhumvit 49, Khwaeng Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10110
At the rear of the Town Hall compound on Sukhumvit 49, tōst 49 was started by three friends with three trades: a chef, a sommelier and a baker. That explains the shape of the day. Daylight belongs to the baker; after dark the same room becomes a wine bar with around thirty pours by the glass. Sommelier Chutikarn 'Bow' Songpum organises the list by music genre rather than region, so a page of Jazz might sit beside Disco and Hip Hop, and nearly everything comes from small organic or biodynamic growers. Champagne features, and there is a proper run of sweet wines to finish on. The side street is quieter than Thonglor's main drag, which suits a place founded on the idea that nothing worth having should be hurried. The wine list is written to that tempo.
