Astral is an intimate gourmet restaurant. The cuisine follows the market and the seasons, the service is attentive without being stiff. You come for a leisurely dinner, where each dish is paired with its glass, and where you leave with a new discovery in mind.

Our menu features nearly 300 selections, including a glass-by-glass option that changes frequently:
Organic and natural winemakers, renowned names from Burgundy, Jura, Beaujolais, and Corsica, as well as a few rare bottles available by the glass. Enjoying a glass allows you to taste a great wine without ordering the whole bottle, perfectly pairing each dish with the right match.

Domaine Comte Abbatucci, Imperial Minister 2020

A unique Corsican red, biodynamic on granite. Abbatucci has rescued from oblivion ancient grape varieties of the island (sciaccarellu, niellucciu, carcajolu neru, montanaccia…) and blends them here, aged in demi-muids. Limited production. With the season, I feel like serving reds, and this one is a real discovery.

Domaine des Bosquets, Gigondas "Le Lieu-Dit" 2023

A plot of old Grenache vines on sand, facing north, partially vinified with whole clusters and aged in demi-muids. Julien Bréchet produces from it a Gigondas of great finesse, far from the clichés of the South. The 2023 vintage is superb, with lots of energy and depth. A small production that I love to share.

Château des Tours 2020, Emmanuel Reynaud

The family estate of Emmanuel Reynaud, the man behind Château Rayas. Old Grenache vines grown organically, aged in large casks: a silky and delicate wine with an incredible aroma that evokes Rayas. It’s impossible not to talk about it, it’s a knockout. Serving it by the glass offers a rare chance to access one of the greatest winemakers of the Rhône.

Sajot Thibaut

Master Restaurateur and member of the Toques Blanches Lyonnaises, I founded ART in 2022 and then Astral in 2024 in Lyon, and I personally create the menus. Originally from Central Loire, I naturally have a soft spot for this region, and I am a fan of Corsican wines. There is also Burgundy, Beaujolais, and the Rhône, the surrounding regions where I enjoy exploring the terroirs with the winemakers.
