Discreetly located on the top floor of an old house built in 1910, L'Orange transports you to another time when intimate dining rooms were the norm. Our Portland Restaurant helmed by Chef Joel Stocks, focuses on our plentiful local ingredients, highlighted by our Northwest sturgeon, mussels, albacore tuna, and all our vegetables.

With an ever rotating list of wines from mostly classic European wines, we love sharing a few forgotten about grapes or wine regions. Wine is another exotic ingredient. Of course, we always have a few Oregon wine made by our owner Jeff Vejr of Golden Cluster fame.

2025 COS, Nero d'Avola, 'Rosa di Lupa'

One of our exclusive glass pours, this rosato is so incredibly versatile with our Fall menu. While most people consider "Rosé" only a summertime beverage, we think that it should be consumed all year round. This rosato has the structure, aromatics, and brightness to bring ultimate joy. Who doesn't want to feel like they are in Sicily?

2022 Domaine Le Roc des Anges, Serine, 'Australe'

Another L'Orange exclusive....Who's tried the wine grape Sérine? Right? I had not either. I was really floored by this example, made by Roc des Anges. This rare version comes from the Côtes Catalanes region of Roussillon. This is such a joy to drink and contemplate. Dare I say, that I feel "serene" after drinking it.

Jeff Vejr

Owner and Winemaker, Jeff Vejr has been a longtime figure in the Portland, Oregon wine scene. Having built many of Portland's most iconic wine bars and restaurants, he also has made some of the states rarest and historic wines. As a self taught winemaker and wine buyer, his palate is unbiased and free.
