Brunswick House

Rating 1

ONE GLASS RATING: Over 20 wines by-the-glass

Experience: Relaxed & Social

Specialist in: Chenin Blanc | Italy | Riesling

Serving lunch and dinner in the crumbling grandeur of an antique-filled Grade ll* Georgian mansion, built for the Duke of Brunswick in 1758. Cafe, cocktail bar, restaurant, dining on the restaurant outdoor terrace, intimate private rooms and historic vault room for eating and celebrating, with an incredible collection of menus and list of rare wines

We feature around 30 wines by the glass, many served fresh from keg for sustainability and vibrancy. Our list spans iconic regions and off-the-beaten-track gems — from Kent’s sparkling wines and grower Champagne to old-vine Barbera and Georgian skin-contact blends — offering guests both heritage classics and innovative discoveries.

MEET THE WINE EXPERTS

Fiona Carroll

Fiona has been at Brunswick for three years. A little guidance and a lot of luck brought her here, and she was immediately captivated by the house’s character, personalities and beautiful setting. One of the greatest joys of her job is being proud of what she serves, sharing her passion for food and wine every day. The wine cellar, tucked beneath a Georgian mansion dating back to 1758, has been central to her growth, and she loves passing on that knowledge. Helping a junior who once said they hated wine discover favourites such as a Côte du Rhône or Pouilly Fumé is one of the most rewarding parts of her role.
